Ferrero Rocher Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 cups of granulated sugar
- cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of whole milk
- cup of vegetable oil
- 2 tsp of pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup of boiling water
- 1 cup of chopped Ferrero Rocher chocolates
- 1 cup of Nutella for frosting
- cup of heavy cream for frosting
- 1 cup of crushed hazelnuts for decoration
Instructions:
Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and grease two 9-inch round cake pans
Mix together flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl
Mix thoroughly after adding the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients
The batter will be thin, but that's okayjust stir in the boiling water until it's smooth
Crumble the Ferrero Rocher chocolates and mix them into the batter
After dividing the batter equally among the prepared cake pans, bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, in a preheated oven
After letting the cakes cool in the pans for ten minutes, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling
To make the frosting, place a bowl in the microwave and heat Nutella and heavy cream for 20 seconds at a time, stirring until smooth and well combined
Spoon one layer of cake mixture onto a serving plate, cover with a layer of Nutella frosting, and top with another layer of cake
Spread the remaining Nutella frosting over the whole cake
For decoration, scatter crushed hazelnuts over the cake's top
To allow the frosting to set, place the cake in the refrigerator for at least half an hour before serving
