Birthday Cake Pops Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 box of vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup of vanilla frosting
- 1 package of candy melts assorted colors
- Sprinkles for decoration
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions:
Bake the vanilla cake according to the instructions on the box
Let it cool completely
Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs using your hands or a fork
Add vanilla frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until you have a dough-like consistency
Form small cake balls by rolling the mixture between your palms
Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet
Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball
Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes
Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to the package instructions
Dip each cake ball into the melted candy melts, tapping off any excess
Before the candy coating sets, decorate the cake pops with colorful sprinkles
Insert the decorated cake pops into a styrofoam block to allow them to fully set
Once the candy coating is firm, your birthday cake pops are ready to be enjoyed!
